PROVIDING EDUCATION
Providing education has always been extremely important to me. When I was in school, budding to become a filmmaker, there were very few opportunities for me to learn from the industry and meet other filmmakers. I aim to give the young filmmakers of today a head start in their careers in film through a variety of educational services.
Lectures
I can visit your school and talk to a class or year group about a career in film. I am often able to adapt my presentations to meet your particular requirements. My lectures cover the various routes into the industry, how employment in the industry works, where to pick up jobs and more.
Careers Fairs
I can visit your school to provide practical, hands-on opportunities for students to get involved in professional film equipment.
Work Experience
I can spend up to five days with a student, offering them a crash course in film production. I cover the whole film production process, from screenwriting through to distribution. We’ll talk about the business, creative and technical sides of taking pages to screen. These placements take place at your school.
Career Coaching
Taking place either remotely or in person, I can provide tailored career advice to film and media students looking for a career in the screen industries.
